More than 10 million units of the Wii are sold in America!
VGchartz revealed the numbers for the week ending March 22nd 2008.
In this week alone 228,750 Wii units have been bought in the US.
The Wii is the console that reached the 10 million mark in the shortest time - only 70 weeks since the launch in November 2006 - while the Gamecube needed 167, the Xbox 109 and the PS2 84 weeks.

With the releases of new Wii games like Super Smash Bros. Brawl the demand for the Wii already has increased again and this trend will continue since several game launches are coming in the next months.
